In 1965, Fred Deluca had just graduated from high school and he failed to continus his study in college due to financial difficulties. Being encouraged by Dr peter Buck, and old family friend, the two opened a submarine sandwich shop, aiming to finance Fred’s future education. From that day onwards, the company continued to grow.
